Today I am finishing my canning.
My total to date:
30 quarts apple pie filling
6 pints apple pie filling
And there is apple butter cooking down on the stove.
I did all of the pie filling all by myself (I guess JLP 'helped' some of the time); not even LHP helped at all. I think it was a pretty big accomplishment!
LHP did peel the rest of the apples for apple butter this morning, which I really appreciate! My hands are getting rough!
